Ready to tie the knot? Getting your marriage license in Pennsylvania is a simple and straightforward process.
To ensure everything goes smoothly, make sure to obtain your license no less than 3 days before your ceremony and no more than 60 days in advance. Pennsylvania law requires a mandatory 3-day waiting period after your application is submitted before your license is issued.
Virtual Appointments Available

Quick Tips for a Smooth Process:
• Both applicants must appear together (virtually or in-person) to apply.
• Bring valid photo identification (such as a driver’s license or passport).
• Check with your specific county for additional documentation, such as divorce decrees or death certificates, if applicable.

There will be a $100 fee for the processing of additional documents up to 6 months after wedding day. After 6 months the processing of additional documents will be considered a new appointment for which full package fees will apply.
